2012 #gratitude makes us feel good
Mental sunshine will cause the flowers of peace, happiness, and prosperity to grow upon the face of the Earth. Be a creator of mental sunshine.

What amazes me is that before we can count we are taught to be grateful for what others do. As we are broken open by our experience, we begin to be grateful for what is, and if we live long enough and deep enough and authentically enough, gratitude becomes a way of life.
- MARK NEPO
Beginning to tune in to even the minutest feelings of... gratitude softens us... If we begin to acknowledge these moments and cherish them... then no matter how fleeting and tiny this good heart may seem, it will gradually, at its own speed, expand.
- Pema Chodron
The Zen master Ling Chi said that the miracle is not to walk on burning charcoal or in the thin air or on the water; the miracle is just to walk on earth. You breath in. You become aware of the fact that you are alive. You are still alive and you are walking on this beautiful planet... The greatest of all miracles is to be alive. - Thich Nhat Hanh
Sometimes our thoughts turn back toward a corner in a forest, or the end of a bank, or an orchard powdered with flowers, seen but single time yet remaining in our hearts and leaving in soul and body an unappeased desire which is not to be forgotten, a feeling we have just rubbed elbows with happiness. - Guy De Maupassant
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. - Melody Beattie
Life is the ulitmate teacher, but it is usually through experience and not scientific research that we discover its deeper lessons. We are all here for a single purpose: to grow in wisdom and learn to love. We can do this through losing as well as through winning, by having and by not having, by succeeding or by failing. All we need to do is to show up openhearted for class... So fulfilling life's purpose may depend more on how we play than what we are dealt. You have to be present to win.
The message, perhaps?
It all begins with showing up.

Being a mother is a great teacher and a precious gift to her family. She's a nurturer, a ringleader, a friend. She's the one who makes a house a home. Mother's fill their days with caring for their families in every way. They taxi the kids, wipe little noses, keep the madhouse running smoothly( or at least running ), and make sure everyone is fed, clothed, educated and loved. They often work outside the home or volunteer with schools or churches or other organizations. They make time for their husbands and sometimes even for themselves. Mothers are indeed, remarkable women. They're priceless gifts from God. Mothers must lovingly give so much to their families, so our wise heavenly father has bestowed some of his best gifts on them. He's promised mothers his presence and his provision. He's offered His wisdom for every circumstances and emotion of life. by Thomas Nelson
Reflection: Take time to laugh joyously with your Mom. Lift her heart to the sky and praise her for the light that she has given to you together. She will direct you with joy and gladness. Learn well today and as if it's everyday. Happy Mothers day!! @levs_a
Nothing is more practical
than finding God, that is,
than falling in love in a quite
absolute, final way. What
you are in love with, what
seizes your imagination, will
affect everything. It will
decide what will get you out
of bed in the morning, what
you do with your evenings,
how you spend your
weekends, what you read,
who you know, what breaks
your heart, and what
amazes you with joy and
gratitude. Fall in love, stay
in love, and it will decide
everything.
